About
I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2018 and subsequently I graduated from a Master’s in Bioinformation Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2021. After graduation, I spent a period as a researcher at NearLab Politecnico di Milano, focusing on Reinforcement Learning for Surgical Robotics. I later worked in the R&D department of Witapp, a startup that develops artificial intelligence and virtual reality solutions for surgical planning.
In December 2022, I joined the Radiology Department of the Netherlands Cancer Institute to pursue a PhD in artificial intelligence for oncological images. My research focuses on improving the robustness and the generalisability of deep learning models in multi-centre data, spanning from federated learning to representation learning.
