Bigpicture

2021-2027

Bigpicture is a public-private partnership funded by the EU Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) bringing together academic institutions, small- and medium-sized enterprises, public organisations, pharmaceutical companies, and a large network of partners.

The goal is to set up the first European ethical and regulatory-compliant community-based platform bringing together an unprecedented amount of quality-controlled annotated pathology images and artificial intelligence algorithms. This platform will be developed sustainably and inclusively by connecting the community of pathologists, researchers, AI developers, patients, and industry parties based on creating value and reciprocity in use.

This project is funded by European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program and EFPIA.
