We are thrilled to share that several submissions to the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2025, organised by European Society of Radiology, have been accepted!

This achievement highlights the dedication, innovation, and expertise of our team in advancing medical imaging and radiology research.

Here’s a snapshot of the work that will be showcased:

  • Eduardo H. P. Pooch: "The diagnostic performance of an AI model in prostate cancer detection decreased significantly in reduced scan-quality of biparametric MRIs, while radiologists’ performances did not decrease" (Oral Presentation)
  • Ivonne Rodriguez: "Unraveling tumour heterogeneity with radiogenomics: comparing single instance and multiple instances learning AI approaches" (Oral Presentation)
  • Liliana Petrychenko and Valerio Pugliese: "Beyond Nodules: A Deep Learning Approach for Comprehensive Lung Tumour Segmentation on CT" (Oral Presentation)
  • George Agrotis: "Cancer Detection Rates in DWI-upgraded Transition Zone lesions align with risk assessment categories in PI-RADS v2.1: a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis" (Oral Presentation)
  • Charlotte Schneider: "Intra-arterial Computed Tomography liver perfusion (IA CT liver perfusion) as an aid for dose planning of colorectal liver metastasis (mCRC)" (Oral Presentation)
  • Lyanne Molenaar: "Optimization of Contrast Protocol for Thoraco-Abdominal CT scans: A study inspired by ECR 2024" (Poster)
  • Lyanne Molenaar: "Identifying the optimal post-contrast acquisition timepoint of contrast-enhanced dedicated breast Computed Tomography" (Poster)
  • Stephan Ursprung: "Prospective evaluation of high-resolution diffusion-weighted imaging accelerated by deep-learning reconstruction in multiparametric MRI of the prostate" (Oral Presentation)

A huge congratulations to the authors and contributors for their hard work and dedication. We are proud to see our lab’s commitment to cutting-edge research making an impact at one of the biggest events in radiology.

A big shout out also to the supervisors of these works: Regina Beets-Tan, Kevin Groot Lipman, Zuhir Bodalal and Stefano Trebeschi.

ECR will take place in Vienna, from the 26th of February till the 2nd of March, see you there!
