My current PhD research is centered around the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in the response monitoring of localized tumors. This research is embedded in the Patient Treatment and Monitoring research line led by Stefano Trebeschi. Holding an MSc in Technical Medicine from the University of Twente, my academic and research endeavors are aimed at developing innovative methods with potential for clinical implementation. My overarching ambition is to further personalize cancer care through research and application of AI, ensuring a tailored and optimized therapeutic approach for each individual patient.
