Sacha Gijsbers
About
I am a master’s student in Computational Science with a focus on biomedical research, currently working on my thesis at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in collaboration with the Computational Science Lab (CSL) at the University of Amsterdam.
My research, under the supervision of Stefano Trebeschi, involves developing computational models to study the biomechanical forces involved in tumor growth, with a particular focus on mesothelioma. By integrating computational modeling with cancer biology, I aim to contribute to more personalized and effective treatment strategies. I am passionate about advancing medical research to make healthcare more precise, effective, and accessible.
